In the book “\The Plant Paradox The Hidden Dangers In ‘Healthy Foods’ That Cause Disease And Weight Gain”, Dr. Steven Gundry sets out to demystify long-held myths about plant-based foods. Gundry exposes the real cause of weight problems, and if you’re one of those people who seem to be eating right and doing all the right exercises, yet suffering weight problems and related diseases, then you’ll want to read this book. "This was a very strange version of the book. It was clearly written by someone, for which English was not their first language.
Thoughts and sentences were garbled with odd, confusing phrases. I did not find it helpful and sent it back. My refund was instant, which was so appreciated. This is just one of those cases where a summary just misses the point entirely."

SUMMARY Of The Plant Paradox The Hidden Dangers in "Healthy" Foods That Cause Disease and Weight Gain By Dr Steven Gundry 9781717074904 Medicine Health Science Books Reviews

  • The summary does not have the pages and pages of lists of yes and no foods, explanations of and where to find unusual food items, and recipes. I'll still need to buy the full version.
  • Don't waste your money and time on this book. Poorly written by non-native english writer or robot. Some sentences are complete nonsense and some refer to lists of prohibited or recommended foods not included in book.
  • This was a very strange version of the book. It was clearly written by someone, for which English was not their first language.
Thoughts and sentences were garbled with odd, confusing phrases. I did not find it helpful and sent it back. My refund was instant, which was so appreciated. This is just one of those cases where a summary just misses the point entirely.
  • It was okay. I did get the gist of the work by Dr. Guntry, and have to remember it is a "summary." From now on I will just buy the original works of an author.
  • Not enough recs on what IS acceptable...I was disappointed in that. It is fairly impossible to discover which foods have high lectins or high oxylates etc without reading a zillion books and articles, which tend to contradict each other. I wish for a source of info on these items and for someone to sort it out without having to weed through so much info. The onslaught of super long videos purporting the latest health crazes are not the solution. I just crave good info that is specific as far as products that are good and bad. Period. all I got from this is that whole grains and legumes are bad. And about ten things are good...hmmmmm
  • A decent recap and succinct summary of Dr. Gundry’s approach to healthfulness through diet. Unfortunately, the book suffers from sloppy writing, typos, and language misuse. Good for a quick review, but challenging for anyone that expects quality content produced by professionals.
  • If you are truly interested in improving your health by changing your diet - a premise very strongly made in this book with lots of supporting data - then this book is for you. I learned about foods (especially lectins) that I never knew were harming my body. I have not had the courage to begin this process yet, but I am convinced!
  • This summary is horribly written and therefore hard to read. It appears to have been written by someone whose native language is not English, and there is poor grammar and contradictions throughout the text. While I gleaned some useful information from this book, I’m concerned it is not factually correct. Don’t waste your money on this summary.
